This project is pretty late, made back in mid-summer right after we had our baby, Lily. We were in the hospital for a full week, all went well in the end, mama and baby are perfect. When we got back though I was itching to do something after a week of sitting in a hospital. Our first night at home and I realized my wife desperately needing a table next to the chair we got her for the nursery. Sunday morning I set out to make this one and with the help of the Domino, it was quick! Makes you feel like you’re cheating – haha. I made it from hard maple that I made the dresser and finished it the same with the white stain and sprayed it with a lacquer finish. The chair was somewhat small so it was nice being able to make the height “just right” for her. She likes it and it functions well. Last thing, first time using a taper jig to make the legs, turned out nicely.
