The form and dimensions are basically those of the plan purchased from Matthias Wendel of Woodgears.ca. A big debt is owned to geekwoodworker of this site for patiently answering my questions about adopting the plans to use linear bushings and rods instead of drawer slides for the x – y motion guides as per his design. The linear bearings were from Amazon the rods from McMaster Carr. the base and platforms are baltic birch, with scrap maple and fir for the other parts.

It looks great and I know you will love using. I use mine on almost every project. In fact I just used it to make 5” base board trim for the house and it turned out great.
I noticed in the background you are making a tilting router lift. Good luck on that and I hope to see some pics of it posted in LJ.
Enjoy

This is a fine piece of shop made equipment. It will be a fine addition to the shop.
