New to this site. Got tired of using seahorses and plywood for a miter saw stand. Had no plans to go off of. So, just started building. Plan on using a small vacuum under cabinet for dust control.

First of all, WELCOME TO LUMBERJOCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice Miter station. You might want to add some outriggers to the sides that go to the floor in case you put a real heavy piece on one side. It looks like a heavy piece might could tip it.

I like the catcher box in the back. I did the same for mine and put a barrel in back on the bottom of the miter station that goes with it when I roll it around. I can’t see if you have one back there too.

Cheers, Jim

Thanks Jim. I built the cabinet to hold a small vacuum to control/collect dust. Just got to go get it. As far some drop down supports, well, I got that in the works. I’m actually a metal fabricator. Just started doing more wood working. Gonna make some fold-up/drop-down supports out of aluminum to tubing
