Quick project of a complementary piece to my Stickley inspired Bedroom Furniture. Picture Frame and Display shelf, I’d been trying to come up with something to display the antique bird prints we had. Came up with this, used my regular/non-QS White Oak I had in stock. The pic’s will need some work, like adding display matting and if we find a third print I’ll replace the center mirror with it. I’ll probably replace the vases with some vintage pottery, that is, once I dig it out.

Thanks for looking

As usual, up to your exceedingly high standards. Just beauiful!

Doug, this is a great idea for a project and exceedingly well done. I have a frame coming up in the not too distant future and I think we have a vase or two that might look good there as well. Did you attach it to the wall with a French cleat?

Thanks art!
Yes French cleat, left a hollow behind the built-up crown, perfect space for a cleat.

Almost forgot to mention that I used 150 yo vintage glass with all its imperfections. Got a nice stash of it from a restoration project a few years back

I like that rustic, vintage style.
