Basket Illusion Turning

This is my second attempt at a “basket illusion” turning. Made from maple; approximately 10 1/2” in diameter. After the beads were turned, I burned the lines, and then colored in the pattern with ink markers.

So very beautiful. These basket looking turnings are some of my favorite. If I was a turner, this is what I would want to learn to do. Do you use a beading tool?

Paul; yes, it’s a 3/16” beading tool from D-Way Tools.
