This is a project I made to hold a patch off an old Cleveland Indians uniform. I made the state of Ohio out of glued up curly maple, and it ended up a little under 1.5” thick. The inlaid “C” is from cherry. I finished it using Minwax Oil Based Poly.

Very cool project. And as is the Cleveland sports mantra, next year will be our year. Go Tribe!

I could care less about the Cleveland Indians but I do like this project.
The second picture showing it “inset” looks really neat.
I’m thinking you can stand it up and add some pen holders and make it a nice desk display piece.
Well done.
