Carving is fun. I live in the city so it’s hard to carve. I like my neighbors and they like me so running a gas saw isn’t in my best interest. I’ve been on the search for a good electric saw.

Not sure about this Makita. Chain speed is a little slow so it digs hard. I haven’t been able to get a decent carving out of it. Might try a Stihl saw that some experienced carvers seem to like.

Cool, Beats the throw away variety. Built wood ones for my wife too, but not with a chain saw…...yet… Nice job.

All was said above.

Great work.

The best chainsaw that I ever owned; and I have had about 6, was a Huskavarna; although the only Stihl that I had owned was well ABUSED before I ever owned it. It was till an O.K. saw after that—just started hard.
