I built this table last year from plans at Rogue Engineer. The top is made from 2×8’s and the legs are 2×4. Most of it fastened together with pocket hole joinery.

I torched the table, then applied three coats of Minwax Gunstock stain and three coats of satin poly.

It was a fun project.

My first dining room table back in the seventies was made of the same lumber…and the chairs were made of big box pine boards and long dowel rods. It all works!
Great project!
