I built these two Flag Boxes over the past month working when I felt like it. One is for my Dad’s Flag (20 years overdue) and the other for a friend’s family we lost a year ago. They are solid oak, glass with a gunstock finish. I spent a lot of time just building jigs and a mockup. I have one more to build for a friend’s family we lost in Vietnam. I hope that is the last one I will need to build.

Thanks Madmark and Evern. It was fine and an honor to build these. I have had several requests to build and wanting to know cost of building some but these were a hobby and I am keeping it this way. The dog tags I found a place that would put date of birth, date of death, name, and branch of service. the WWII for my dad had to be brass and the later one stainless.
