I made another small segmented bowl in a full brick pattern. The piece is made of walnut and maple, measures just over 2” tall and 2.25” in diamter and has 166 pieces in it. This has turned out to be one of my favorites. Thanks for looking.

Now that is cool… so many pieces in such a small bowl… amazing.

Oh my – that’s so small! How did you get all of that looking so good?

Whoa! I was expecting something 4-5 times that size! Very nice – I like the shape.

That is amazing Mike! What do you use to cut your wood to such precise sizes, and how the heck do you glue such a thing up?

I, too, thought it was 5 – 7 inches high and was shocked to see how small it was when I saw the quarter there! I tend to look at the photos first then read. Such patience you have for miniatures! Very lovely shaped vessel.

All I can say is beatiful work. It’s been over 30 years since I made a segmented bowl of vessel. I will have to try another..

It is a beautiful shape and obviously very well done too. The contrasting woods really work well together too.
