This is a custom basketball bed that was completed in June 2010 . It is from my sports theme collection. Since it is custom we allow the customer to be involved in the design process. We let them determine the score and put their name and number on the headboard and foot-board.

These colors were custom picked by the customer. The color is “Blue Chip”:;c=2645 from Sherwin Williams.

The nightstands are a slightly taller version of my baseball nightstand and the chest had a custom width and height. All knobs have are mini basketballs from Outwater Plastics.

The customer received it and loves it. Here is what they sent me: “They delivered the furniture today and I have to say I was UNBELIEVABLY impressed. The set is absolutely adorable and it exceeded my expectations. You truly have a gift of creating such creative and fun furniture. We set it all up today and my son LOVES his new Basketball bed. It helped so much with the transition into his “big boy” room. He was soo excited to go to sleep tonight. I will definitely be passing your name along to all of my mommy friends!! I will have to take some pictures tomorrow and share them with you!!”

Great idea and well executed Chris. This would make any kid very happy. It sounds like you have a customer for life. Thanks for posting!
