This is a Fireman Santa I carved for my Granddaughter’s 6th birthday. It’s a Steve Brown roughout. I’m telling her that this Fireman Santa is out collecting toy donations for the poor kids. The fun part of this Santa is that you can lift his hat off, and it turns into a Kaleidoscope – or as Steve calls it, a Collide-a-scope! He has several versions of this roughout here:

Claude….would you consider making one of these for sale? My granddaughter is 3 1/2 months old and I would love to give this to her for her first Christmas. She is having open heart surgery on 11/6. I am a retired fire officer who loves working wood but I can’t carve a would mean a lot someday to know she got it from her grandpa. And I would want to initials on the helmet to say SFD.
