I wanted a place close by for more storage of table saw related items and had an open space to the right of my saw between my fence rails. I built this drawer that connects to my fence rails. 24” full extension drawer slides makes for a lot of drawer space and I also use the top of the drawer as a shelf to store push blocks, pencils, measuring tools, etc.

Very convenient.
Well done.

That’s a really great idea. It’s definitely something I’m going to consider for my saw. Thank you for posting it.

This is a nice example of localized drawer storage. It’s a convenient place to store a few key tools where they are needed most. However, when you no longer need them they stay out of the way and take up only a small amount of space. This drawer is a nice addition to your shop.
