I got the inspiration from a cabinet I saw at Scan Design (last photo) and redesigned it to fit with the furniture we already have. Not sure what you would call the style maybe modern? It was made out of Sapele plywood for the case and solid sapele for the doors, draw and top I especially like the way the quarter sawn looks on the top. Thank God I am blessed to have a great source of hard wood near by in Seattle. Thank you all for looking.

I like what you came up with so much better than the original photo of the inspiration. The colors you ended up with are nicely balanced, Well done.

The legs being toward the center rather than the outside is a cool design, and the top is really stunning. Lovely work.

I don’t care what style you call because yours is much better looking.
You outdid every aspect of the original including choice of wood.
Nice work!

Absolutely beautiful project. The finish seems perfectly suited to this style – call it contemporary, Scandinavian, whatever. Can you provide more information on your finish techniques? A project this nice deserves more images. May I suggest a few closeup photos so we can see your finish work.
