Mahogany from an antique table leaf Lid is roasted maple 5.5” by 10” dovetailed corners.

wow very unique, love your design but what is roasted maple?beautiful.

Roasted maple, they cook the wood in the kiln to a point that the wood is burned.

That’s a very cool box. I too really like the “two drops of liquid” handle and the ripple effect on the lid. The roasted maple looks like chocolate.
