I don’t have a clue what type of wood I found in my wood pile but it was ugly when i put a clear finish on it. One of those rare moments when paint is appreciated…

Perhaps a little black box is a place to store a little black book.
That is a unique box to say the least, the integrated hinges really add to the mystery!

Thanks… it was just something to cover up some yucky wood but I sorta like it. I’ll have it at the show this weekend and see if someone with some $$ likes it…

painting over wood is usually a taboo event, however in this case, the flat black really pops the wood grain out.

-- New Project = New Tool... it's just the way it is, don't fight it... :)
