Continuing to work this little series of 9 Pointed Stars, seeing how many variations I can come up with before the end of October.
This one, from the outside in, is made of Maple, Sugi, PurpleHeart, Walnut, Mahogany, and Indian Rosewood. It’s got a fun and casual 3D quality to it—- a woodworking version, to me, of eye candy—

Includes conceptual work-in-progress. It was really important to me to preserve the natural colors in finishing, I used polyurethane but I’m not sure I like the yellow tinge.

this is very nice and complex work.

This is certainly an eye catcher. Congratulations on creating this work of art.

Doesn’t look very simple to make and it shows it, it is beautiful!
A real nice project and Christmas is coming!

Beautiful! How about a little more info on the dimensions and angles used? Thanks!

Nice work , luv the color contrast and design. Poly will give a yellow tinge, try water base varnish for the natural look.
