Just a quickie end table—rough around the edges but functional. This was my first project using loose mortise and tenon joinery.

Top is cherry pallet slats lightly skip planed with a #5 jack plane to knock off some of the highest points and add contrast.

The border is ash, also from pallets.

The sides and drawer front are construction grade 3/4 plywood scraps.

Legs are reclaimed 2×4 wall studs scavenged from a trash dump site.

First of all, Welcome to Lumberjocks!!!!!!!!
That is a nice table from scraps and you got to practice you joinery on it.
It is amazing what can be made for material thrown away!!

Cheers, Jim

It’s a nice practical table and I like it’s character. Congratulations and welcome to Lumberjocks.
