Scrap metal storage bin – I built for the barn. I know I could have made this from many different types of material, but I chose wood (2×4 split). I could have put it together make different ways, but I chose pocket holes screws with glue and it came out very strong and square, better than some of the fine furniture I have made and this piece did not matter.

Great idea. Why didn’t I think of this for storing not only scrap metal but also plumbing pipe, electrical conduit, threaded rods, etc. Thanks for the included plans.

Good project and well done too.
A lot easier to find that elusive piece that you know you have this way!
