It was a fun build, I learned a lot, and was constantly challenged to go beyond my comfort zone with new tools and techniques.
As I sit here typing, hurricane Harvey is flooding my street and with every rain drop the water level come closer to entering my shop. I will do my best to keep it off the ground and safely elevate it just in case the worst is about to happen.

Nice work on the bench. Looks to be really stout. Stay safe and dry. Man that storm is terrible.

It’s a great workbench you built. Sorry about the bad times going on there. Stay safe what ever you do.

Thanks Tony, this feels like the slowest moving week of the year, but at least we are half way through.

Thanks guys, the work bench is now elevated 7 inches of the ground. We stacked our sheet goods and the rest of our lumber on top.

Wow! This is a husky workbench, lots of beef! You did a great job on this beautiful bench.
