I promised my wife a new dresser when the last one I made began to fail. The design stage was long and drawn out. The build stage was rather long as well. It tends to be that way when you get only limited amounts of uninterrupted time. Alas it is finished. Made out of lumber material I pulled out of the bin at my last big job. I had to buy some MDF for the drawers and the euro slides. Other than that it was reclaimed material. 16 deep. 36 tall. 60 wide. There is nothing that is quite strait. Nothing is quite square. But the wife loves it.

-- When questioned about using glue on a garbage bin I responded, "Wood working is about good technique and lots of glue........I have the glue part down."

Excellent dresser. And, whatever we make, build, or turn for our significant other will always be perfect – no matter our own ideas of perfection are. My only wish is to make it as perfect as you did.

Looks like it matches the side table in the background fine. “Close enough” is how most of us define all our projects, I think it look excellent!

“There is nothing that is quite strait. Nothing is quite square.” Boy do I understand that! Nice work.

Looks very functional and that is what counts. :)
