finally ! after several years a project for myself. this is for my bedroom . curley maple with curley cherry trim . itll get a small cherry crown mldg. around the top and maybe another small cherry mldg. like the one in the picture under the crown. doors im struggling with i wanted arch top cherry glass at first but that would make it a diplay rather than storage and i think i need storage more so im now considering raised panel with curley cherry stile and rails and curley maple panels
UPDATE
i had to get this project out of the shop after about 2 months sitting there . afraid it would get damaged from all the material that goes in and out almost daily , so i took it home and set it up in my bedroom ,its not permanantly installed as im waiting to get the cherry flooring down ( i asked santa nicely but the cheapskate didnt bring it ) i did however get the doors made and installed . couldnt get a very good shot of the doors ,i tried every angle i could get but the grain in the panels just seem to not come out very good

WOW, thats a beautiful piece. Definately do the raised panels. That will certainly bring it all together. Good Job.

This looks awesome. I really like the curly woods. The extra storage will be a blessing, you will see. The entertainment center I am doing wasn’t supposed to have the extra storage above the TV but SWMBO decided it would at the last minute and she is already itching to fill it up. And yes, three pics next time. The 3 picture limit is actually the only thing I find frustrating about this site.
