I build a cart for those lathe tools and accessory. It has five vertical drawers.so has a enough space to storage 40 lathe tools.and each side of the cart has 7 PE piper. So totalky this cart can storage 54 lathe tools. In my experience most turning jobs only require about 3-5 gouges or chisels.so there is no need to put all of our tools on a open shelving rack.when i turning something i only need put those tools which needed for this project on the flat desktop of my cart.
The size of cart is about 48in longļ¼32in wide and 35in high.so i can install my sander grinder and polishing grinder on the desktop easily even though i put some tools, sander papers or something else on it.
On the other end of the cart ,i designed three parts to storage chucks, finishing materials and measuring tools.
Because of the installed wheel,i can get the tools which needed for each project and put them on the desktop easily.

The verticle storage for the tools is a great space saver, very innovative. Can you remove these drawers and use the drawer as a rack while turning?
