My friends and I enjoy playing board games, but not Monopoly and Sorry. More of the obscure, take an hour to learn the rules, depth and strategy, couple hundred token type of board games. They can be a little difficult to manage at times.

I also enjoy making small boxes. I made my first one out of pine, my second one out of maple (I really need to post that one). This is my third one, it’s made out of beefwood, with oak dividers for contrast. The bandsaw, router table, and table saw were involved in this one, and it was finished with pure tung oil, which has a LOOOONG dry time. It probably spent close to 6 weeks in dry time total. I polished the finish up with some steel wool, and am pleased enough with the results to share them with you good folks :)

Nice box for game storage. I have never heard of beef wood, though!
