hey guys, i just wanted to share my bookcase built in that i had done for my parents anniversary. they had wanted some storage area for books and other things so i was able to come up with this. by no means as good as others that i’ve seen on this site but i hope you like it.

Those seem to fit the space well.

Did you build the cabinets too, or just the cases on top? The trim matches perfectly either way.

Are the shelves fixed, or moveable?

I’m sure they’re very appreciative of your work, as it’s well done!

thanks jonathan…yeah, i built everything you saw there, even the low cabinet. the shelves were fixed but i should of made then movable because i screwed up on the first case. ah well, you live and learn eh?

Looks good, fits the space nicely.
Now it looks like they need to upgrade the blinds ;)

Excellent work! I love the crown moulding. Too bad the miniblinds between the bookcases distract from your nice work. ;-)
