Walnut crotch 8”x3”. Finished with BLO and lacquer. First piece I’ve done in a while. A little rusty but felt great.

Sure is a beautiful bowl and piece of wood. You just gotta love the colours and the natural features in the wood.
When I first started I used to repair/patch al those defects but I rarely do that now, as that makes the character of the piece.
Great job.

What an outstanding rustic bowl. It displays a lot of great character, natural details, and fine craftsmanship.
