First Cigar Box Guitar for a while. Life has been in the way of down-time in the shop! This is a Cherry neck and a Montecristo “Monte” box, satin black with gold and red trim. Tuned CBD. Piezo pickup on underside of lid. 25 inch scale. Fret markers are inlaid Walnut. Black covered tuning pegs. All the black was at the request of the recipient. Intonation turned out real good. Brass bolt for a bridge on a saddle of black Corian. Nut is also black Corian. Play with a nickel plated brass slide I also made for recipient. Strap attachment ring on box is a gold bezel from an old watch. Neck is finished with several coats of Danish oil. BH trade mark (Blue Haze) burned with wood burning pen. Thanks for checking it out!!!

Looks great. I do kinda miss making those. I still have a large collection of boxes, just in case I decide to start up again.
