This is a 24” H miniature of garden statue in 1:6 scale whitch I submited recently for a tender. I made it from Ayous wood, upper base from Sapele wood, lower base from piece of marble.

Beautiful work. Guess I see a wood nymph morphing out of a tree. Mother earth sending an emissary out on a mission. Maybe I read too much phantasy and mythology in my youth.

I love this website and getting to be part of others art, furniture and just needed stuff. But really I am so glad someone else saw what I did here. I first saw this and thought , oh my God, I need help.

You’ll just saved me a lot of money on a shrink. :-)
