Cool story on these end tables. Me and my wife bought a small tv stand when we got married made of pine. We didnt have much money so it was all we could afford. Well now I built us a new entertainment center and the old one I was going to get rid of but the kids and my wife couldnt part with the old pine tv stand. They felt it to much value to the family since it had been around thirteen years and it showed how far we have come financially in our life. So I decided well tear it down and transform pieces of it to build these matching end tables. The light colored sides of these end tables are the pine from the old green tv stand. So keeping part of our family history around made everybody happy. And we can still see how far we have come.

Nice tables. What did you use to get the black on the table top and legs?
