I found this mahogany at my friends house and some walnut and oak in the shed when I was helping them rebuild after Hurricane Sandy. Their father was a woodworker and passed away, I was told the mahogany had been sitting on the side of the house for probably 20 years. I also made some cutting boards, Boxes, Puzzles and other items from one of the fathers project books we found that survived the storm. I think he would be happy that someone saved his wood from going in the dumpster and was able to create these beautiful items.

That’s a very nice table, and I am sure your friends’ father would be happy to see what you have done with the wood!

Great work. I think your friend’s father would have loved seeing what you did with the lumber.
