This was a little weekend project for an upcoming 4-man scramble golf tournament some of the folks at work are having tomorrow. Considering there are only about 3 out of the 20 people playing that are even remotely good players (myself Not included in that 3) I thought it would be fun to make some awards for us players that stink it up on the course (like the Joe Isuzu award for the guy that lies about his score the most or the Best Landscaping award for the player that hits more dirt than clean shots). Most of the oak are cutoffs from other projects. The balls on top of the trophies are cutoffs from my workbench legs. For the plaques I just cut a golf ball in half using my band-saw for a 3d effect. The plates screwed to the faces are photoshop printouts on card stock under plexiglass. The winners get the 4 trophies and four of us not so good players get a plaque.

Those are great Daniel. I would definitely win one of the “not so good” awards. Nice job and thanks for posting.
