I had to see if it would work. Powerless iPhone amplifier.

I had to see how this would work. And was I surprised.
I also did this as an un-pluged project. Now power tools at all.
Hole was with a brace and bit and the rest were saws, chisels and rasps and some sandpaper.

The sound difference from the native speaker was remarkable. Everyone just drops their jaw and says ... WTF
Not a bad little 2 hours of relaxation in the shop.

Update: sound path shown on the chalk marked middle piece. I couldn’t show a phone in it as I used my phone to take the photos.
Anyone wanting more info contact me with a way to send you more photos and I’ll gladly do so.

You can make them even louder with a horn.

I cannot figure out hate details of the design – like how the phone its in it, and what the sound path looks like. However, it sure looks good all finished up, and I have envy now!

Do you have a photo of the inside, before the glue up? Can’t seem to follow how the pieces are assembled.

Sorry Guys I posted a blog entry with these images.
It’s under iPhone Speaker Diagrams
It’s basically 4 pieces of wood, I didn’t draw the curved sides here

Sorry for the confusion. Hope this helps.
