End-Grain Butcher Block Kitchen Table

Hard maple and cherry end-grain construction for the top and cherry for the legs. Finished with several coats of food safe mineral oil. Built this about 9 months ago.

This is a nice looking butcher block table. I wish I had experience and knowledge on how to make one of these. I am going to have to do some research and figure this out. Good Job.

Sometimes you see a project and think this is amazing, only to see there aren’t many comments and it makes you scratch your head??? There must have been a power outage or something when this came on the site b/c it is fantastic! I am sure I don’t have the patience to copy a design like this on this scale of a project. I have made EG cutting boards before and I know how meticulous your lines need to be.
