Not a wood project but its one of my favorite things to do… restore old vintage furniture!
this i a steel table from General Fireproofing (1940’s). you can see the pics of the before and after, quite a difference! i bought this table last summer on CL for $25.00 and just got around to restoring it. i have seen similar tables like this one go for $100-500 (restored)!

im not sure what i am going to do with this one but i thought about using it in my shop so i ended up putting a brushed (hand brushed) steel top on it instead of the typical/ original laminate top. i though about even mounting a South Bend metal lathe on it one of these days but we will see!

You did a fine job resurrecting that table from the disgrace it was put into.
The polished top looks really cool
