Rustic table with breadboard ends, bench and four chairs (you might need to lie down to see that pic ;) )

I used a method from McCauley’s Design for using a Festool Domino for the breadboard ends. It turned out to be a simple and fairly quick method … we shall see over time if I executed it well enough to allow for the expansion and contraction. ( Initials thoughts are positive though.

This was a trial dining set that I made for my son and daughter-in-law. I would definitely use three pieces instead of two for the backs of the chairs mainly because of proportion but both styles are really comfortable.

Made from alder. Rough sawn. Minwax ‘Espresso’ stain with wipe on satin Varathane clear coat.

Table is 72” x 40” and Bench is 55” x 15”

Great looking dining table and chairs—I’m sure you’ll have many fine meals around it!
