In this project we moved the TV from an entertainment center across the room and rebuilt the mantle and TV box cabinet to be one unit.
It was a bit of a challenge getting the TV in the cabinet, but all in all turned out very nice.
Made our own edge molding on the mantle with a cove bit and and round over bit.
We have also made up our own bracket system for the TV to hang on. The TV sits flat against the wall with this application. Other applications I have put a 15 degree bevel on my bracket to give the TV a tilted look.
Finish is White base with 3-4 coats of clear coat water bourne finish.

It did turn out very nice I like wood finishes but sometimes a nice clean painted job looks homie and classic at the same time

yeah, I love stained products too. I am in an area where painted is the thing, but I am beginning to see a turn around in my projects.
thanks for your encouragement.
