A few small items for the kitchen that I have made over the years, not worthy of each having their own posting.

First is a simple banana holder. We have been using it for years, and it works well. Pattern is from the web site:

with slight changes. I made another for my daughter also (not pictured). This is oak for the sides and base, with walnut in the middle, and several wiped on coats of polyurethane.

Next is a simple K-cup holder. This was for my wife after her mother bought the machine for her. This will sit on a counter or hang on the wall at a slightly backward angle. This is from a piece of oak, resawn and bookmatched, and again wipe on poly.

Final item is a box-joint box of walnut. This has a glass jar that lives in it to hold my loose-leaf tea. Glass is a very good container for loose tea, but since light is bad for tea then this keeps the light out. Finish is Bullseye shellac.
