I live in the country and wish for my home to have a country look. So when building the kitchen island why not make it look like a harvest table. It is all made from pine. The base was painted white then I sanded it to show the wood and to give it a more rustic look. I turn the table legs but did not want the turn parts to be completely smooth, so I left flat spots.
Once it starts to age it will look real nice.
Dim: 34 inch high 28 inch wide and 4 and a half feet long.
It was all stock that I had left over so I only have my time invested in it and the rest of my life to enjoy it.
Enjoy and let me know what you think.
