Very nice clock. I really miss the Arts and Crafts times. I liked owing pieces and making them of course.

Great clock , I have some of the same wood and think this would be perfect. You have plans for this beauty? Where did you get the parts? Any help would be appreciated.

I really like the look of your clock. The color chosen for the maple really looks great. I used the same wood for a clock but prefer your choice of color.

First off, beautiful clock.
Which action are you using? Also, I very much like the custom pendulum, but does it take much to get the weight/swing right?
Thanks,
Mike

Mike this is a quartz movement. The pendulum is for show only and does not affect the timing at all. Mechanical movements are quite different. The pendulum length is set at the factory.

Thanks, so assuming you’re starting with a normal quartz hobby kit, do you basically burnish copper onto the kit’s pendulum bob to make it match or do you build a new one at about the same weight?
More interested in the matching look between the face and the bob. I’ve done a few clocks with a custom printed paper face, but would like to try one in etched copper and want to the face and bob to match.

Beautiful, that wood must look even more awesome in person!
Can you comment on your finish schedule?

Looks really neat, I like the design and the copper is a nice contrast.
