Well I was asked to post this table so here it is in all its glory. Flame birch top. I never touched this piece of wood with a saw. The only power tools that touched it was a sander and the biscut joiner to fasten the top to the legs. The wane on the piece made it into ready made art with lots of visual interest.
The legs and base are curly hard maple.
I finished it all with boiled linseed oil and wax
The top is held to the legs with FF biscuts and the legs are fastened to the base with a through tenon.

All of your tables are so so unusual that that is what makes them so cooool…..The usual gets passed by but the unusual will surly get you noticed. Keep up the great woodworkiing….....
