Great job showing off that stunning birds eye maple! Definitely some grain worth highlighting.
What oil did you use to finish it, and what sort of joinery is holding it all together?

Is the Walnut naturally that dark , or is it stained ? Maybe it’s just the lighting with the oil on it…. It really makes the Birdseye POP ! What type of oil did you use ? Beautiful table design and wood choices : ) Favorited.

The walnut for some reason is that dark. no stain. I was surprised when I put the finish on how dark it was.
The joinery is all mortise and tenon and the finish 2 coats of boiled linseed oil and then paste wax
