very nice. Is the Bubinga a veneer or a solid piece? That’s one to keep, at least until the next really good one.

That is a good looking box and a very nice choice of woods. Is your top hinged od a lift off top? I also like the combo of BLO and poly.

The bubinga is veneered onto a solid piece of walnut so that the bottom of the lid is walnut.
The inside is basic felt lined with a small tray.
Your close but its danish oil and wax =D
