I finished this retirement trunk for a Command Master Sergeant in the Air Force a while back but it was just presented recently. The customer wanted it to be able to hold his bugle yet still be able to remove it easily for use. This presented a bit of a challenge since all I had to go off of was pictures. Came out great though. The bugle fit just right. His Airman finished adding all the items to the inside of the lid and the tray and presented it to him at his retirement. On the front of the trunk is his unit and his rank.

It’s the great memory keeper, I like all those signs and other details.

This is amazing, and you should really be proud of your hard work.

I’m interested in getting a dartboard shadow box for my upcoming retirement from the US Air Force. I’d like to have coins on the side doors when open, and the center be completely rectangular (no spot for a flag). I’d like the Air Force seal carved on the front when the doors are closed (AF seal, not the AF wing logo), then my rank and name below it. I have two other military badges I would like carved, one on each door interior above the coin rows and I could send artwork for it. If you’re interested in this project, or know of someone who may be, please send me a message. I would really appreciate it.

Have your say...
