This is another toy box for my other Grandson. This credit for the basic design goes to John in Ontario (secret compartment box). This modified toy box does not have the secret compartment. I have cut a recess down in front to protect those little fingers. 2 lid supports hold up the maple top just fine. The main box is all pine from pre-glued panels. My wife added the finishing touches to the front.

Nice Piece Of Work Woodman! I’m sure your Grandson will Love it. If you can’t seem to find him …lift the Lid …He’ll be in there. Well …I’d enjoy doing that ;-}

I’ve seen the Laminated Pine “Boards” at Home Depot a number of times. They look very Stable, come in many Widths & Lenghts, and are a LOT less expensive than Single Pine Boards.

Never used them but your Project might just Inspire me to try something with them.

Thanks for Posting.
