Three years ago, the power company took down a red oak tree in my front yard that was interfering with the power lines. I had them leave the tree in my yard and I brought it to a nearby sawmill to be cut into lumber. This is my first project with that tree. It’s finished with a combination of wipe on poly for the carcass and brush on poly for the top. My next project will be a TV stand.

Nice, what is the thickness of the side panels? All solid oak right?

The side panels (and back panel) are 1/4” red oak plywood.
