This table top was carved by my lady. She drew the design and did all the carving. I only made the support structure for it. She wanted a shelf incorporated into it, so that’s what she got.

Assembly is glue and dowel with no screws, nails, or brads. My personal preference is glue joints – it’s the difference between mass-produced store ‘stuff’ and hand made quality furniture.

The table is 21” high, and the top is about two feet in diameter. She finished with a ‘honey’ colored polyurethane/stain.

I think it’s a pretty good team effort.
