First piece of proper turning for nearly 2 months. This is turned from London Plane and measures 8 3/4” X 1 3/4”

Very nice.
That is something on my bucket list is learning how to turn.

It’s got some pretty grain in that timber Derek, but I also would think the woodturner has a lot to do with bring out the best in a piece of timber…well done sir.
