It might not look green on you monitor but its green in daylight.

The body is MDF primed with automotive primer because I had it and needed to get rid of it. The primer was old but it worked well the cans were another story. The green paint is Behr Oops paint from Home Depot applied with an airbrush. I also applied one light coat of Krylon clear satin finish. The rest of the paint and shellac is brushed on.

The exhaust pipes are flat black acrylic craft paint top coated with clear shellac. I like the look of the flat black but the durability isn’t there and if left bare it will leave black marks on things. Especially other lighter colored acrylics.

The axle hubs are metallic green craft paint with a top coat of clear shellac.

The wheels are finished with amber shellac.

I have really enjoyed making these and have several more in the works.

Fine looking roadster! I’m sure whomever receives it will spend many happy hours with it!
