The customer assembled and finished this bookcase, over 60 running feet of bookcase 12 and 14 foot tall and assembled with 1/2 inch dowels. The customer also added the birch plywood backing after delivery. The bookcase is also 12 and 14 inches deep in different sections. This was shipped cross country in one crazy crate, at 1400 lbs. just the right sice for me
how is this honeycomb behave when you try to come dowels in it
what I mean isn´t it tricky to deal with

The edges have “implants” of solid wood to hold the dowels. You just treat it like solid wood, but so much lighter.
