That is a very handsome table. Well done.

I believe jarrah is native to Australia and it would probably be cost prohibitive to import it to North America. Nonetheless, I can see that it is a very beautiful wood and, from what I read, a very hard wood. It looks like a darker version of ipe which we import from Central and South America.

It seems like all the really hard woods and many of the really pretty woods come from the southern hemisphere.
